I agree with you on the fact that people have to test their skills in order to prove themselves; however, keep in mind that not everyone is on the same page when it comes to skill, so instead of pitting recruits against the Best players we have (which would probably be a disaster), we should simply test the players abilities with a standard match. Afterwards, when the said recruit(s) have gained enough experience and wish to progress in rank, then we could have more skilled people test them.
